Down the Mountain Kettlebell Sport Workout

Interval training is one of my favorite ways to practice Kettlebell Sport. You can choose to focus on speed, or use a heavier weight kettlebell than you normally would. Either way, you’ll get a great workout without the mental challenge of doing a long set.

Workout Instructions:

Choose either Long Cycle or Jerk, depending on your preference. You have two options for weight to use: 1) increase your weight as the intervals get shorter, with 1-2 min of rest to change out your weights, or 2) do all sets with the same weight and complete all sets as prescribed with no additional rest in between.

2 min on, 1.5 min off x 2 sets
1.5 min on, 1 min off x 2 sets
1 min on, 30 sec off x 2 sets
30 sec on, 15 sec off x 2 sets
