4 Tips to Master the Kettlebell Clean

Check out this video for the double clean in slo mo:

  • Let the kettlebells come all the way back to the end of the pendulum in the backswing - wait for the bells to start moving forward due to gravity before following with the hips.
  • On the upswing, let the kettlebells come up to the "weightless" point before pulling them into the rack.
  • Bring elbows into the body and the kettlebells will follow.
  • On the drop out of rack, use the hips to bump the kettlebell handles into your fingertips and ascertain the hook grip.
